Black Demon is based on a Mexican legend action thriller based on an ancient Mexican legend from Highland Film Group and The Avenue Films. The film derived its story from Carlos Sisko and was later adapted for a screenplay by Boise Esquera. Rambo: Last Blood director Adrian Grünberg directed the film and it was shot in the Dominican Republic. Besides Lucas, Fernanda Urrejora (Narcos:Mexico), Julio Cesar Sediro (Sicario), Jorge A. Jimenez (Machete Kills), Hector Jimenez (Nacho Libre), Edgar Flores (Sin Nombre), Carlos Sorozano (Flamin Hot). 

Kurooni will be released nationwide on April 28. Shark movie lovers can look forward to another big genre entry in The Meg 2 soon. The Trench, starring Jason Statham, is set for release this summer. 

“Oilman Paul Sturge (Lucas)’s idyllic family vacation turns into a nightmare when he encounters a ferocious Megalodon shark that will do anything to defend its territory. Paul and his family must somehow find a way to bring their family back to life before they are attacked again in this epic battle between humans and nature.”  

The Black Demon is a horror suspense about a revengeful megalodon wolf, or more specifically, a giant black wolf lurking in Mexico’s Baja California promontory. The film was first blazoned to star Josh Lucas in October 2021 and will be mugged in the Dominican Republic from Fall 2021 to early 2022. So it’s no surprise suckers will want to know further about him in one of 2023’s most anticipated monster suspensers.
